ANTHONY C. 'TONY' CUOMO, PLS: Tony began his land surveying career in 1974, working weekends and summers with his father, Paul. He began surveying 'full-time' in 1980 with the County of Orange, California. While working in the public sector from 1980 - 1985, Tony acquired a wide variety of field and office experience, including cadastral surveys, boundary surveys, high order horizontal and vertical control surveys, construction surveys, topographic surveys, and hydrographic surveys. From 1985 - 2005, Tony worked in Orange and Los Angeles counties for three prominent firms. In the private sector, Tony gained experience in the preparation and review of subdivision mapping, legal descriptions, and A.L.T.A. surveys. He now works as a consultant throughout the southland on projects including residential lot survey’s, large scale subdivision mapping, expert testimony, and A.L.T.A. surveys. Tony’s wide experience base has made him one of our best equipped instructors. He has been an instructor with Pacific Land Seminars since 1992, developing the material for the L.S.I.T. Workshop and portions of the L.S. Workshop. He has presented the L.S.I.T. Workshop and a variety of continuing education seminars on A.L.T.A. surveys and Advanced Land Description techniques throughout the Western United States, including Northern and Southern California, Oregon, Washington, Colorado, Nevada, and Arizona.



JOHN D. PAVLIK, P.L.S.: John is currently the Manager of the Right of Way Department for a large County in Southern California. He attended Fullerton College and C.S.U. Fullerton and received a teaching credential at U.C. Riverside. He has taught surveying in both the C.S.U. system and in Community Colleges since 1983. He co-authored The Land Surveying Review Manual, ( C.S.U. Long Beach ) and the C.P.E.E. Engineering Survey Review Manual and has been an instructor at the Pacific Land Seminar L.S. and L.S.I.T. review work shops since their inception.JEREMY EVANS, P.L.S.: Jeremy is the Corporate Director of Surveying at a large California based surveying and engineering firm and is also in charge of training for all the branches of the firm. He is the Chairman of the Surveying and Mapping Advisory Committee at Santiago Canyon Community College and has taught Advanced Survey Problems, Land Descriptions and Boundary Control classes for over 15 years. He is an instructor at Pacific Land Seminars L.S. review workshop and has presented workshops on Astronomy, State Plane Coordinate Systems and Error Analysis for the California Land Surveyors Association and for the Minnesota Society for Professional Surveyors.
